Relentless brutality... September 26, 2006 Yujiro (FL) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Wow... just when you think this series can't get any more violent, it proves you wrong time and again. This is by far the most intense, relentless, action-packed DVD in the Baki saga thus far. With a cast of colorful characters each boasting their own unique fighting prowess, the violence becomes both entertaining and enlightening. At certain times I found myself either cringing or muttering a sound of pity for the victims of these barbaric martial arts moves. Fight after fight the combatants are dwindled down and draw nearer to the final goal: Fighting Yujiro Hanma and claiming the title of "The Strongest Man on the Planet"! Unfortunately, the crowd favorite Baki Hanma doesn't fight on this DVD, but spends his time as a spectator, brooding about his father and speaking to his girlfriend about his tragic upbringing. This DVD ends on a very interesting note as Yujiro enters the fray to remind everyone why he is still, "The King".
