Yummy lil guys July 25, 2005 Daniel A. Joyce (Seattle, WA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I picked these up at the Seattle Uwajimaya. The chocolate is good, and it tastes a lot like pocky, but there is more chocolate with each piece.
The box is crammed full of pieces in a little foil-plastic pack, and the box itself can be sealed close with a clasp to keep them from falling out.
Great snack, for when you need that chocolate fix.
Addictive April 5, 2007 Lydia Brambila (Rainy Day, Ireland) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Get ready to buy one to two hundred of these little 'shrooms for your flood supplies. The chocolate is unlike anything I've ever tasted; creamy and satisfying (or at least, for the next five seconds, after which you'll find yourself reaching for another six). The cookie stalks are absolutely adorable. Oh, and keep the case; it comes in handy later. Trust me. With its little clasp and imaginative packaging, you wouldn't want to discard it anyway.
THE MUSHROOMS COMPEL YOU
VERY AWESOME SNACK! August 11, 2006 Alison G (N. Richland Hills, Tx, USA) This is a very awesome and neat packed snack! Especially for the anything mushroom lover (like me!).
The mushrooms are soo cute and the packaging is as well. I'm just disappointed they stopped carrying this product at the asian grocery store where I lived. If I knew they were going to stop carrying it, I would have totally stocked up! I'm surprised I found them on amazon if anything, haha.
You'll love these mushroom cookies!
Awesome snack! December 4, 2007 Christina Michalk (Eugene, OR USA) I go to a US University, and to find out that one of the on-campus stores sold this kind of thing surprised me. I didn't even know what they were when I bought them; the fact that the back said "chocolate" and they were from Japan sold them to me. But when I got back to the dorm room and started eating them, I just couldn't put them down! The chocolate is unlike any chocolate I've had before, and the cracker part is delicious!
I had to force myself to stop eating them, they're that good! Now I just hope I can find them at a local store back home, to continue my addiction in peace...
one of my favorite chocolate snacks December 7, 2007 Maiko Kanahashi (Manila, Philippines) Meiji makes my favorite chocolate (ever!). when i was a kid, i thought i was satisfied with just eating meiji milk chocolate but then they came out with this. the mushrooms are adorable and tasty.
the head of the mushroom is made from meiji's milk chocolate. the chocolate actually has two layers. a darker one on the outside then a lighter one on the inside. then there's the cookie. the cookie tastes like a butter cookie but not that sweet so it is a perfect balance with the chocolate.
highly recommended, great gift for the kids! a must eat! lol
