The third set of episodes in this mecha adventure focuses on conflicting loyalties. During a skirmish, Shiro and Aina save each other's lives--and discover their love transcends their commitment to the warring Earth Federation and Zeon Forces. Shiro wrestles with another moral dilemma when he violates orders and aids a friendly guerrilla village. Although he may have lost faith in the war, Shiro has grown more attached to the other members of the 08 Team, in contrast to Aina's zealot brother Ginias, who is willing to sacrifice Zeon soldiers to get his prototype Apsalus military robot into production. The principle characters' battles with their consciences are juxtaposed with some well-staged battles between space ships and Gundam robots. Rated 13 Up for violence, profanity, and brief nudity. --Charles Solomon

5 out of 5 stars 08th MS Team   September 25, 2001

One of the best! I've seen a pretty good amount of anime and this is at the top of my list. I recently purchased the complete dvd box set. The subtitles (stink) so I think I'll buy Bandai's dvd set to get the full experience. For those of you that were introduced to Gundam through Gundam Wing will be in for a surprise. Buy this series immediatly it's worth the money!

The episodes here are good but the reason why it Episode8 isn't 45 minutes is because Cartoon Network broadcast some parts from Miller's Report (The 08th Ms Team Movie recap) which had some more footage

This has some of the best parts to the movie with the crash landing on the mountain and the subsuqent things needed to be done to survive being the best. This is series is a must have for any true anime fan, even if you aren't in to mecha battles. I wish they had done more the 13 episodes for this, and can't wait for the ending. If you have only seen this series on cartoon network, get the dvd, you will be amazed at what was edited.
