Amazon.com The cast of Rumiko Takahasi's "feudal fairy tale" begins to discover both the extent and the limits of their powers, as director Masashi Ikeda sets the machinery for the ultimate battle into place. Sango recognizes that she will betray her comrades, if she thinks it will restore the life of her brother Kohaku. Miroku learns that the curse that afflicts his right hand may shorten his life. Inu-Yasha discovers just how formidable a weapon the Tetsusaiga, the enchanted sword carved from one of his father's fangs, can be. The evil demon Naraku is stunned to find that Kagome's arrows strike with the same deadly force as her ancestor Kikyo's. But the characters don't yet fully comprehend the source of their magical strengths and weaknesses, so they will have to grow as they learn--and the story continues. (Unrated, suitable for ages 13 and older: violence, grotesque imagery, brief nudity) --Charles Solomon
Description Contains Episodes 28-30 During a routine demon-slaying, Miroku wanders away from the others in pursuit of a young woman. (Predictably, she turns out to be a giant mantris-demon in disguise.) Although the enemy is dispatched easily enough by means of Miroku's Wind Tunnel, as it vanishes into the void of Miroku's hand, its claw damages the edge and now Miroku must return to the monk who helped read him, in hopes that the damage can be repaired before the wound grows and eventually swallows him whole. Later, the group reaches a village whose inhabitants have been slain by the weapon of a Demon-Slayer. Kohaku, the younger brother of Sango who died in Naraku's castle, appears to have been involved. Sango chases him, only to find herself before Naraku himself. Told that it was he who brought Kohaku back to life (using a shard of the Sacred Jewel, no less), Sango is ordered by Naraku to steal Tetsusaiga from InuYasha
else Kohaku die a second time.

One of the Best! August 30, 2003 Toni Zmorenski (Orlando, Florida USA) 9 out of 13 found this review helpful
Inuyasha is a great story! Kagome is from the modern time who lives in an ancient temple with her mother, brother, and grandfather. In the temple there is a well that she gets pulled into. When climbs out of the well she is in feudal Japan. There she meets Inuyasha (a half dog demon) and many other strange characters. Inuyasha is ill-tempered, funny, always in trouble, and at very nice and caring. The group of characters are search for fragment of a jewel (shikon jewel). Inuyasha's excuse for wanting the jewel is so he can become a full demon. I own all but seven of the episode and they are fabulous! If you like show such as Sailor Moon, Fushigi Yugi, or Escaflowne you will love this series. There are love triangles, battles, war, death, laughter, constant insults and Inuyasha always getting into trouble.

A crowd pleaser October 23, 2003 R. Fritz (Goldsboro, NC) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Though my taste in Amine tends to go away from what is aired on tv b/c they are often very bubblegummy, Inuyasha is a great exception, though its not really a must see for hard core violence junkies but there's enough action in it to keep everyone entwined. With the ongoing plot line, undlining mini advenctures and character developments, Inuyasha never seems to pray to much on the predictable story lines. It truelly is a crowd pleaser. I dare anyone to watch the first set of episodes and not be jonesing for the next.
COMEDY,DRAMA,, ACTION! July 11, 2004 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This anime was very outstanding. From the cover,it may look odd but trust me it is good.In the first episode, Miroku gets tricked by a disguised princess who claims she wants to bear his child who is really a large mantis that scars his wind tunnel. So he turns to his uncle for help and discovers that if he uses while scarred, it may swallow him whole. In the next episode, which is really funny. Sango and Kagome get into a hot spring and Kagome sees Sango's scar on her back and Sango talks about it. Then they see Inuyasha and Miroku being peeping toms. Here comes the drama, they find a village full of slaughtered villagers, and all the murders are done by Kohaku, Sango's brother that was supposed to be dead. But thanks to Naraku,Kohaku is back to live by a single jewel shard embedded in his back.Sango follows Kohaku and finds Naraku, she tries to make Kohaku remeber her but Naraku erased all his memerioes. The only way she can get him back is to steal Testusiaga. They saved the best for last!Sango and Naraku fight in a battle until one's death until the rest of the gang find them and join in. This another one of the best anime I have seen!
