Hearts and swords are the focus of the second season of Inu-Yasha, Rumiko Takahashi's popular "feudal fairy tale." Inu-Yasha's icily elegant half-brother Sesshomaru discovers that the sword their demon father left him, the Tenseiga, is useless to him in battle. It doesn't kill, but heals--an imaginative twist typical of Takahashi. Inu-Yasha has to learn to master his sword, the Tetsusaiga, that was forged from his father's fang. When the monster Goshinki bites the Tetsusaiga in two, the addled smith Totosai reforges it, using a fang of Inu-Yasha's to join the shards. Inu-Yasha must learn to wield the newly heavy sword that reflects his increased responsibility: his father is no longer protecting him, so he must use his own strength. Inu-Yasha also faces two powerful internal struggles. He begins to question his desire to become a full demon after he transforms into a mindless killing machine. The Tetsusaiga keeps his demon-blood in check, and Inu-Yasha is grateful for its strength. But he has no exterior support in the battle within his heart: Does he love the resurrected Kikyo, whom he adored 50 years earlier, or Kagome, who has shared so many adventures and who loves him? These struggles demand more than the battles with the evil Naraku and his avatars. The adventures, emotional crises, and ferocious battles are balanced against the friendship and slapstick comedy Kagome, Sango, Miroku, and Shippo provide. Through it all, Inu-Yasha remains the impulsive hot-head viewers love--whom only Kagome can keep in check. This means that it is Engl.
The difference between this one and the Delux Edition is (directly from VIZ): "This special deluxe edition features a set of imported Hanko signature blocks, each featuring either the name of Inuyasha, Sesshomaru, Kagome or the original Japanese Inuyasha logo."

Just know that this box set is only subbed...that means it will only have English Subtitles and the voices will be in Japanese

If you're a true Inuyasha fan and a smart buyer then you know this is the Box Set to get. You can't wait any longer this is the entire second season for just 75$, think about how much money you save by buying this and not all those individual DVD's that just clean out your pockets. If you're looking at this review and have never seen the series then your looking for the first Set not this one,.
So anyone buying this already knows the 5 amazing characters and the amazing story and plot and how much this Box Set is truly worth. This isn't overrated this is one of the greatest anime series of all time and I said one of the greatest not the greatest. If you really want to know how great of a deal this is then calculate what it would cost if you purchased every DVD volume of the second season.

This will have 27 eps leading up to ep 54 and will be a great box set. It WILL be in English! And I cant wait to own it..y would it now be in English, we have been waiting over a yr for the second box set, of course its in english..? Anyways cant wait!
