Product Description Naruto is a young shinobi with an incorrigible knack for mischief. He’s got a wild sense of humor, but Naruto is completely serious about his mission to be the world’s greatest ninja! R to L (Japanese Style). N/A Naruto is a ninja-in-training with a need for attention, a knack for mischief and, sealed within him, a strange, formidable power. His antics amuse his instructor Kakashi and irritate his teammates, intense Sasuke and witty Sakura, but Naruto is serious about becoming the greatest ninja in the village of Konohagakure!

The tension builds in the 47th graphic novel of Naruto, by Masashi Kishimoto. Naruto is a boy with an ancient spirit inside him. He fights against those who want his spirit for power, and never gives up. Along the way, he makes friends, like Sakura the healer, and enemies such as Orochimaru the master of snakes and resurrection, and Kisame shark lord from the Land of Waves. These enemies are very powerful, but Naruto keeps training to defeat them. These books are great for long road trips and even better when you introduce them to somebody!
I like it firstly because it's very exciting and action-packed. You can get very stressed out when reading it because you're dying to know what will happen. Secondly, the story is great and is very entertaining. The story's progress is also good and you can always understand what is going on.
Overall, this volume is a great addition to this fantastic series. It is an action-packed and fun sequel. It really takes the reader farther than any other volume in the adventure.
NonStop Action! One of the Best Volumes February 21, 2010 Tristan A. Hayes (Richmond, VA USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
NAruto 47 contains Naruto chapters 433-442, that appeared in the monthly Shonen Jump #79-82 (7, 8, 9, 10, July, August, September, October, 2009 Volumes. The volumes continues the Pain invasion and brings it to a much exciting point in the series. The last volume ended with Naruto finally arriving in Konoha and wrecking destruction on the Pains, and this one continues that fight; it centers all attention on Naruto versus Pain.
This volume is paramount in its way of dealing with the situation and the emotion of Naruto can be felt all over the place. The emotion is strong when one recollects on all the people who were close to him that were killed in this fight, the massive destruction of Konoha, and even the fact that peace is so hard to achieve. Taking it personally, I found myself feeling Naruto the whole time on this level. The fighting was also quite heartfelt and I found myself cheering him on the whole time. It was impressive seeing him in Sage Mode and seeing Pain's 'Almighty Push' and 'Almighty Pull' as well as one of the most destructive and massive attacks in the Naruto series make an appearance. Ultimately this volumes continued to deliver the action that was started in vol 46 and take it on the most epic level of the series since the concluding fights in the volumes before the start of the "Shippuden" storyline.
Chapters:
433: Sage Jutsu, A Mistake...?!
434: Naruto vs Tendo
435: Banshoten'in! Universal Pull
436: Peace
437: Confessions
438: The Seal Destroyed!!
439: Catastrophe Planetary Construction
440: The Conversation with Lord Fourth
441: Rasen-Shuriken vs Almighty Push
442: The Final Gamble!!
The number of chapters helped to carry us to another great end of the main fights and bring us ever closer to the conclusion of this fantastic art. Having read the chapters in their original form in the monthly Shonen Jump, it is always a pleasure to have the individual volumes of the manga. I enjoy the ability to have so many chapters per volume, the artwork on the cover of the volume is amazing, and the inserts artwork between each chapter is a tantalizing and exciting addition. One probably would not want to start reading Naruto with this volume and should really considering reading from Vol 45 to get the full experience and appreciation for this arc. Ultimately one should go back to Volume 28 for the full Shippuden experience.
Art is fantastic as ever and is quite clean. It is definitely one of those series that the art can be cherished from, and one that has action scenes that convey everything clearly. I did not find myself having to flip and turn back from page to page to understand what just happened in the panels.
There are not really any criticisms that I have for this volume. It was perfect and I loved every minute of reading it.
