Amazon.com The Super S series encompasses episodes 128 to 166 of this popular TV show and follows the S series, in which the Sailor Scouts defeated the Death Busters. During an eclipse, the eerie Dead Moon Circus appears in Tokyo. Ringmaster Zirconia sends out the Amazon Trio (Fish-Eye, Tigers-Eye, and Hawks-Eye) to find a "mirror of beautiful dreams," which will enable them to capture the Pegasus, a winged unicorn that forms a psychic bond with Chibiusa. Pegasus gives Serena and Chibiusa new weapons and the ability to transform into Super versions of themselves. They need all the power they can muster to protect not only their innocent friends, but a nun, Artemis the cat, and Serena's mother Ikuko from the machinations of the Amazon Trio, despite help from Tuxedo Moon and Scouts Amy, Raye, Lita, and Mina (Ami, Rei, Makoto and Minako in Japanese). The six episodes here are the uncut originals and rated 13 Up for violence, grotesque imagery, and brief nudity. --Charles Solomon

Everyone always puts down SuperS December 3, 2001 Jeff Jones (Manchester CT) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
Hi everyone. I would just like to take a minute and write a little about the Sailor Moon series which always seems to get dumped on by everyone. Sailor Moon SuperS begins right where the action of Sailor Moon S (which I also recommend you buy) leaves off. Chibi-usa is sleeping before she is going to go to see the eclipse with her friends. It is in this dream that the mysterious horse Pegasus emerges and asks her to tell noone of their encounter. When she awakens... she is obviously questioning whether or not the dream was real. She goes to the park to meet her friends (the Sailor Senshi of course) and it is also at this time that the Dead Moon Circus arrives. Leaving everyone questioning who it could be. While I will agree that SuperS doesn't have as much action as it's 3 predecesors. SuperS has some of the best voice acting, and a wonderful action which progresses through the episodes ( probably v.1 DVD, and v.5+6 will be mot evident.) I urge everone who has not seen it, or has only seen the english dub :0( to buy this DVD (...)
Super Sailormoon, Pegasus, And The Lemures Amazon Trio! March 4, 2002 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Sailormoon SuperS takes place after Sailormoon S[uper]. The Death Busters have been defeated, the Outer Senshi have taken Hotaru-chan to be cared of, and Usagi and the others are finally going to high school! But during a solar eclispe, a giant ship appears out of the sky and lands in Tokyo, the Dead Moon Circus. Usagi and Chibiusa is called upon by a mysterious Pegasus who needs help, but they don't know why. When the Amazon Trio - Fisheye, Hawkseye, and Tigerseye - attacked the people and steal their dreams, Usagi and Chibiusa must power up to Super Senshi and become Super Sailormoon and Super Sailor Chibimoon, using their new powers and weapons to defeat the monster Lemures, help the Pegasus, and protect the dreams of the people of Japan! They are also aided by Tuxedo Kamen-sama, Sailormercury, Sailormars, Sailorjupiter, and Sailorvenus, the Sailor Senshi of the Silver Millenium! Created by anime genius Ms. Naoko Takeuchi, Sailor Moon SuperS is one of the best acclaimed seasons of Sailor Moon ever aired on television.
