My son LOVES the Backyardigans and we now have all five stuffed animals from Ty (we began with Tasha).
Uniqua is extroverted and confident--but no one seems to be sure what kind of creature she is! She's pink with magenta spots, and is clothed with a spotted jumper outfit. It's sewed on, so the outfit isn't removable. The "buttons" are sewn pieces of cloth, so you don't have to worry about parts that could choke little ones.
From a distance, the Ty Backyardigan beanie babies may look like they're made of rough, itchy fabric--but they are not. The fabric is soft and smooth--somewhat like chenille.
If your child loves the Backyardigans, enjoys fantasy play (like tea parties or role playing), or perhaps needs a friend to keep him/her company at bedtime--Uniqua would make a wonderful present!

I got this Uniqua doll as a compliment for my niece's birthaday along with some of the Backyardigan's DVDs. For the price I pay is an excellent toy.
It is small but for a baby girl that doesn't matter !!!

My entire family are fans of the backyardigans. My youngest daughter got Uniqua for her 3rd birthday and carries Uniqua everywhere. I gave it a five for imagination because what an imganination for child to make up her own adventures with her Uniqua doll without the influences of electronics and battery opperated stuff. I also gave it a five for durability as well because we did have to throw Uniqua in the washing machine and then laid her out in the sun to dry. She was as good as new. And she smelled good. We plan to collect them all, but for now Uniqua is her favorite backyardigan.

This product is just what I expected and wanted about 6" high more or less and the kids can hold it and cuddle it.

I bought 4 of them (Pablo, Uniqua, Ty rone and Austin) for our 2 year old daughter, because Tasha was not in stock. They are really beutiful, very well finished, nice colors, excellent quality and exactly the same with the ones on the TV. Our daughter loves them, she sleeps with the four of them every night. I would strongly recomend buying them if your kid likes the backyardignas TV show.
