this notebook is awesome! the size is perfect, like 50 pages of rules, around 10 pages of names written by Light Yagami and Ryuk in the Anime, and a whole bunch of blank pages that look just like the anime's, for you to write in. highly recommended for deathnote fans!

I was looking for just a simple replica of the Death Note from the manga/anime series and I was bit unsure about the quality that I could expect. But I was pleasantly pleased by the leather-like cover and the fine attention paid to the creation of the note's pages (which even go down to some of the names that Light writes in during the series). It even comes with a feather with a small pen inserted inside for writing like a shingami.

Iv been into DeathNote for some time now and iv always loved the Death Note, it was only after i watched the Death Note film did i really want to buy a Death Note for myself!
This replica is brilliant, amazing packaging, comes perfect condition in bubblerap + a sealed case that has the Death Note inside, This is a perfect buy for any death note fan! accept the kinda false advertising, it says "Death Note MOVIE SIZE notebook" but, after reciving my Death Note i was a little dissapointed, the size of this item is the size of a DVD/ps2/xbox case, stating its a MOVIE SIZE notebook i thought it would litterally be a exact replica that Light has in the film, if you look in the film, the Death Note he has is ALOT bigger then a DVD case, but infact about the size of a A4 pad of paper. That is the only downside with this item, other then that im completly happy with this!
MUST HAVE FOR DEATHNOTE FANS!

Well I went to an anime convention, and I bought the Death Note thinking it was authentic. I come to find out They only put 10 rules and the material that it was made on was very cheap. So yea I was pretty Pissed. When I saw this one on Amazon.com, I bought it write away. When got it in the mail, I was REALLY IMPRESSED. The leather case and ALL the rules with the quality of the paper really made it so much more worth it. If you've been screwed like me, This is a good way to redeem yourself BELIEVE ME!

I ordered this Death Note as a birthday gift for an adolescent fan. The notebook is slightly larger than the size of a DVD case with a plastic slip cover, some 50 pages of rules, and then some writing on subsequent pages (I would like to note that the Kanji on both the box and inside the book is in CHINESE, not Japanese!) Also, although the box states that it comes with a pen and a CD, neither of these items were included in my order.
Nonetheless, my recipient was extremely pleased, and I highly recommend this item as a great gift or collectible for any fan.
