Simply amazing!! August 16, 2002 Sergio R Servin (Mexicali, Mexico) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is one of the best anime movies I have ever seen. Period. It is an excellent climax for the whole series in general as Ataru and Lum finally have to come out of their own stubborn pride and admit that they love each other or lose one another forever. The last 20 minutes of the movie make you stay to your seat and scream from emotion at the painfully suspense-filled ending. It is best if you have some idea of how the series work to get the most of it, but even if you don't, it will leave you craving for more Urusei Yatsura. As for fans, it is the culmination of the series as a whole. Although Ranma 1/2 suffered from the same ending feeling, it is what makes the story endless.
The movie to see for those pro Urusei!!! August 18, 2001 Christopher Scott Sekersky (Windsor, ON Canada) In one of the best movies in the Urusei series (Number one coming a close second) Lum and Ataru's relationship faces one of, if not the most difficult bridges they have ever crossed. Due to a age old promise and a misunderstanding Lum finally leaves Ataru, but fate seems to have other plans. A global disaster places the fate of earth in Lum's hands, but she will only help on one condition. Tired of Ataru's womanizing nature and unsure of his feelings tward her she demands a second tag race where all Ataru has to do to win is say "I love you". Unfortunatly as time drags on things become more and more heated and more than the sake of the planet is eventually put on the line. This movie best sum's up Urusei series in my opinion, with all it's comedy, drama, and putting the characters feelings up front. The most emotionally moving of all he Urusei movies in my opinoin, period. I highly recomend it for any fan and even those that have never seen the series
Urusei Yatsura September 17, 2002 I saw this movie when I was about 13 years old and from then on I was a fan, This movie is a great film. The art work is devine and the characters are just many to love. Once I finished this movie I was determined to find all other movies and television series. I know this Review isn't much but what can I say....It is an Excelent movie and I loved it! That's all
